  I would like to ask them why it is so important that they need to convert everyone? Very destructive thinking as we see what Christianity did in the middle ages and what Muslims are doing now.

  Accidental Posting of 2015 Release on JW.ORG

  a couple of weeks ago someone posted that jw.org accidentally posted the 2015 regional convention release.

  i can not fine the thread now.. i saw a picture of it yesterday.

  a sister had downloaded the pdf and read it that night.. it is a 16-page brochure entitled "return to jehovah", with a purple background.. it has been designed specifically for inactive ones are those who have been raised around the truth but never baptized.

  I have not heard of this brochure being accidentally released but I think was this deliberate? I have learned that things like this sometimes are planned.

  So some of the Elders are "evidently/apparently/no doubt" imperfect. So I or family members should take all of our problems and deepest darkest secrets to these "trusted" imperfect men? Really?

  There qualifications are what? Since when is a janitor, painter or carpenter qualified to counsel a person? They have no formal training in grief counseling. A person could be suicidal yet their advise would be to read the bible or WT publications more.

  opinion filed.. (signed published) the judgment against defendants on the negligence count is affirmed.

  the judgment against watchtower on the cause of action for punitive damages is reversed with directions to enter judgment for watchtower on punitive damages.

  If you are a congregation publisher can you explain to Jehovah why you are not an auxiliary pioneer?

  If you are an auxiliary pioneer can you justify to Jehovah why you are not a full time pioneer?

  Are you giving Jehovah (Watchtower) your all brothers?

  Are you holding back from serving Jehovah (Watchtower) whole souled?

  Yes nothing was ever good enough or this cult. You did 10 hours then you can do 20 hours. If you did 20 hours then you can do 30 hours etc. They always put you down it took me years to build up my self esteem after I left that cult.

  if you become one of jehovah's witnesses, here are five points which will not be driven home to you until after you have been baptized as "one of jw's":.

  1) you will be required to commit as much of your time and financial resources as you are able - to further the aims & acquisitions of the billion dollar corporation known as the wtbts/ccojw - namely, to recruit new members and to increase their worldwide real estate empire.. 2) you will be required to terminate "worldly" association with former friends.. 3) you will be "expected" to attend each and every meeting, assembly, convention, and kh televised broadcasts which are arranged by the self-proclaimed "governing body" (g.b.

  ) in brooklyn, n.y.. 4) you will be required to blindly accept any decisions/directions issuing forth from the g.b., even if you disagree with it.

  Yes I recall when I was first married and had doubts and questions the elders and my ex's response was I had to have faith and pray more. There is no room for questioning the GB once they have their claws in you. This is a double standard for them as when they are studying with you they will tell you it is OK to questions everything and examine your beliefs but they don't tell you that is not allowed once your in.

  You know in the end the big corporations like the Witchtower always win as they have the money and resources to drag this thing out forever. Hopefully a precedents has being set. Like someone else mentioned it sounded like a win lose on both sides.

  The only thing I am afraid of is like someone else stated, they will put a gag order on Conti and her lawyers, which will weaken any future liable cases against the cult.

  I think a bigger problem to the wealth gap in our society is our tax system and the handling of inherited wealth.

  I can't agree more. We can't keep having more and more of the wealth filtered up to the top 1%. With the population expansion this planets resources will eventually not be able to handle the amount of people on this planet and very few people controlling the wealth, something has got to give. I know my parents lived through the 30's and knew what hard times were. They learned to save for everything and not rely on credit. If we ran our household fiances like the governments run theirs, we would be in serious financial trouble.

  Yes, as in virtually all JC's, they want you to start talking and expose yourself.

  They never start out with: this is what we heard and who we heard it from.

  I recall at my judicial hearing they came across as we are there to help you, so gullible me I opened up, confine in them and tell them everything. They then in their decision to DF me turn around my own words and used them against me. That is what really upset me and I called the one elder a f*ing AH. Reminds me a bit of good cop, bad cop. I remember after telling my boss what they did and he couldn't get over that this day and age that a religion actually "shuns people".

  Begs the question - so how should we know when elders should be viewed just as men, and when not?

  This reminds me of peoples arguments for giving guns to good guys to shoot the bad guys. Who are the good guy and who are the bad guys? The good guys wear the white hats I guess....

  I seemed to recall that was the reason they gave us when they went to a Governing Body in the 1970's.
